International GEO-Innovation Center faculty participated in the International GEOGLAM Program Executive Committee Meeting, hosted by the GEOGLAM Secretariat at WMO Headquarters, Geneva (March 21-23rd). The meeting provided updates on the current GEOGLAM initiatives and discussion on the future directions and activities for the program.

The Global Land Programme Network’s Thousands of Scientists Study Issues Ranging From Global Carbon Emissions to Food Security.

An international research program that brings together more than 2,300 land scientists to advance studies of rapid changes to Earth’s environment is moving its home to the University of Maryland on Feb. 1.

International GEO-Innovation Center Organizes Remote Sensing Summer School

The International GEO Center held its inaugural event, the first International Quantitative Remote Sensing Summer School from July 5 – 13th 2022, in collaboration with Wuhan University and the University of Hong Kong. The international summer school included talks by speakers from multiple international institutions and was very well-received with more than 5000 total registrations.  – predominantly students and young researchers.
